This festive season join Santa in Cosmic Christmas, a brand-new immersive family adventure.
Hidden in an intergalactic wonderland there’s a Christmas space tale waiting to be told. Join Santa and watch as he recreates the story of his epic first mission to the International Space Station. Get set for a 45-minute live-action performance in the Planetarium auditorium. Join in with Santa and Aster, the intergalactic planetary elf, as the story is brought to life through immersive experiences, live science and an out-of-this-world journey through space.
‘Star of Wonder’ – Sound and light show by Luxmuralis at Winchester Cathedral

Immerse yourself amongst the stars and walk through mesmerising sound and light installations that fill almost every inch of the cathedral.
All set to transform Winchester Cathedral throughout the interior with stunning sound and light artwork, the award winning artistic collaboration, Luxmuralis, will begin this years Christmas celebrations taking viewers on an uplifting journey. Projections with bespoke music will transform the historical architecture of this majestic building.
It promises to be a stunning experience for the whole family and the perfect start to the Christmas season.
Christmas Carols and Owls at The Hawk Conservancy Trust

A special evening to kick off the festive season. Join in with Christmas carols, both traditional and modern, under the night sky accompanied by a live band and choir. Warm up during the interval with mulled wine and a mince pie.
We’ll also invite you into the magical world of our owls during the evening as you witness our beautiful owls twist and turn in the moonlight and skim silently over the top of your head.
