Sustainability

Cams Hall is an historic building which has been carefully repurposed to meet the needs of professional office users, whilst preserving its heritage. The adaptive reuse of historic buildings is a sustainable approach which reduces environmental impact and it is readily acknowledged that the greenest building is the one that already exists.

By repurposing the existing structure, we reduce the material waste and embodied carbon associated with the demolition and construction of a new building.

Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond preservation. At Cams Hall, we incorporate energy and water efficient systems and offer responsible waste management and eco-friendly amenities.

As far back as 1961, Jane Jacobs, the author of The Death and Life of Great American Cities, recognised that Old ideas can sometimes use new buildings. New ideas must use old buildings.

In following this ethos, we aim to meet modern needs while respecting the past to create a vibrant, productive, and environmentally responsible place for business.
