Venue hire in Hampshire

We can facilitate the ceremony outside in our grounds between 1 March and 31 October. The ceremony does not need to be held under a permanent structure; however, you must consider the time of year and inclement weather and may want to provide some cover. You must also ensure you have a room inside where the ceremony can take place should it not be suitable to be held outside. The registrars will have the final decision on the day but will work to hopefully ensure there is no disappointment.

Cams Hall operates as a Business Centre and Conference Venue Monday to Friday. We offer Ceremonies on a Saturday or Sunday only. You will also need to liaise with the local registrar’s office to ascertain when they are available to officiate at your ceremony.

Appointments to view are available between 09:30 to 16:00 Monday-Friday, email or call to book. We do not offer viewings at weekends. Alternatively, you can view Cams Hall online through our website: www.camshall.co.uk

We understand and appreciate that arranging your special day involves making lots of decisions; therefore, we are happy to provisionally hold a date for you whilst you are coordinating all other arrangements for up to 2 weeks with no obligation or deposit required.

Before the day your Ceremony room will be available from midday on Friday, you will be able to access the room, to put any final additions that have previously been agreed with the Centre Manager. For example, decorations, seating plans etc.

The Hall will open for a maximum 3-hour period, approximately one hour prior to the ceremony. Guests are to be made aware not to arrive any earlier than an hour prior as we are not able to allow them access to the building.

There is a lift for anyone with walking difficulties, or pushchairs which leads to the landing adjacent to The Oval Room.

Please note however that the access to the grounds from the Garden Room may be less suitable for those needing wheelchair/pushchair access.

We are pleased to be able to offer the back lawn for anyone wishing to hold a Marquee Reception. You are welcome to source your own marquee company as this is not something that we provide. Please note: Any Marquee Reception or external event needs to be completely self-contained and as such Cams Hall will be closed (an hour after the Ceremony has taken place if you have married here) All catering, bar, toilet and any other facilities will need to be considered and arranged externally.

Such events will also need to end by midnight.

Ceremony events are available to be booked between 12 noon and 4pm. The Hall will open a maximum of one hour before your ceremony and close no more than two hours afterwards.

Marquee events will end by midnight, with all bar services, music, outside entertainment (including bouncy castles, food vans and photo booth vehicles) ceasing by 11.30pm.

Ceremony and Intimate Dining events the Hall will close no later than 9pm.

All taxis must be pre-booked for these times, and it is the client’s responsibility to ensure guests are aware and make prior arrangements for their return transport.
